There is a moment,
recounted by many women,
often quietly, often with shame:
the moment they “found out.”

The affair.
The videos.
The folder.

It is framed as the awakening.
The climax of a slow unraveling.
But in truth —
they already knew.
They always knew.

The body knew.
The sleep was disturbed.
The conversations felt hollow.
The touch was off-tempo.
The presence was fragmented.
The fracture preceded the evidence.

The Myth of Proof

In a society that gaslights female intuition,
“proof” becomes the only socially accepted form of escape.
But proof arrives too late.
Proof arrives after the harm.
Proof requires the subject to endure incoherence long enough
to catch it in the act.
